Basic Requirements

Offering "Effective service" means that as a member of the Army Reserve you will be expected to attend a minimum of 14 days per financial year and up to as many as 150 days depending on your personal commiments and military requirements. Most units parade on Tuesday nights, one weekend a month, with a further two week exercise conducted druing the year. The more time you give, the better trained soldier you will become.
