AACAP 2007

Welcome to the AACAP 2007 Page

AACAP 2007 is now under way. This year the Squadron is deploying to the township of Doomadgee, about 600 kilometres North of Mount Isa in Queensland. The Squadron will be constructing four new houses, a public toilet facility, and a serviced subdivision comprising ten lots.

In conjunction with the construction tasks, other effects will be delivered to the community. These include;

• A HEALTH TEAM including environmental health and veterinarian, will be providing training and education to the local community members and assist local medical teams with inoculations and immunisation treatments.
• A TRAINING TEAM will be working in conjunction with local TAFE and other government organisations to provide education and training to local members of the community.
