Deployments

21 Const Regt personnel deploy on operations and excerices to many locations around the world and within Australia. The Regiment's Main Effort is to prepare members for deployment.

In 2009 21 Const Regt has had 40% of the unit deployed on operations or major exercises for an average length of 3 months in the following locations:

  • Padang, Indonesia
  • Solomon Islands
  • East Timor
  • The Pacific
  • Afghanistan
  • The Philippines on the ASEAN Regional Forum Disaster Relief Exercise
  • Papua New Guinea on Ex OLGETTA WARRIOR
  • New Caledonia on Ex Croix du Sud
  • New Zealand running a CIMIC Course
  • Victoria Op VIC FIRES ASSIST
