Trade Recognition

Attached is the document detailing the requirements for construction trade recognition. Please ensure that members submitting their application for trade recognition have completed the document and have all relevant paperwork attached. Any questions regarding individual trades are to be passed through the chain of command to WO1 Pat Edmonds in RHQ Works.

Construction Trades are:

• Carpenter ECN 072
• Plumber ECN 314
• Electrician ECN 125
• Draftsman ECN 101
• Plant Operator ECN 270

Trade recognition may require the member if they are above the rank of SPR to revert the rank of SPR, i.e , if a member is a CPL CE/FE and have a civilian trade of carpenter they must revert to SPR once their trade has been recognised.

All future deployments/ detachments identifying a particular trade position must have the correct ECN to deploy and be current in that ECN.
