Introduction

The 3 CSR Preservation Plan is a new initiative by CO 3 CSR which is aimed at the collection and preservation of unit history, from the past of the mighty 103rd Sig Sqn and Headquarters Coy to the present 3 CSR. As of 26 May 08, the 3 CSR Preservation Plan will be in place and the Unit History Officer will be looking for historical items, documents, equipment, uniforms and pictures to add to the collection and to make it as comprehensive as possible. If you have any such items, please contact the Unit History Officer.

The 3 CSR Preservation Plan will also be looking for volunteers at different stages to assist with the cataloguing, identifying, restoration and the display of historical items and would appreciate any assistance. If you are available to assist in any way, or would like to offer your service, please contact the Unit History Officer.

3 CSR is more than happy to involve ex-serving members wherever possible. If you wish to be notified of unit activities please monitor the 3 CSR website as each event is posted in advance. Alternatively, feel free to contact the Unit History Officer.

The Unit History Officer for 2008 is Lieutenant Roger Pilton. He can be contacted on (07) 4411 9679 or roger.pilton@defence.gov.au with any history relation questions or information.
