As you may have already heard, Defence has initiated a 'New Housing Classification Policy' (NHCP) which takes effect on the 1 July 2007 which will affect all Members with Dependants (MWDs) who will be occupying a Service Residence. There is an 1800 number available that outlines the details of the change if you would like some more information. I will be undergoing training on this new policy in the first week of June and will forward on any new information that I am given to you so you have a clear understanding of what's what.
To make your relocation go as smoothly as possible I would like to suggest a couple of things that will help you and me out.
Start on your removals paperwork. Even if you haven't received your posting I recommend you make a start on the 'Application For Relocation' (AFR) and the inventory. You are able to do both of these on-line if desired.

By getting a head start with these forms it will help you out with planning your move, and also help me out with your arrival date so we can secure a property.
I will be working very closely with Robyn Munt and Kaylene Tronc who are responsible for relocating you. Robyn and Kaylene both work out of the Brisbane HMC, and are contactable on 07 3355 8850 (for Robyn) and 07 3355 8833 (for Kay).
Robyn and Kay will be working alphabetically, so if your surname is A to M, Kay will be your point on contact, N to Z is Robyn.
As the wife of a now discharged Army lad, I understand personally what families go through in regards to frequent moves and the strains that involved in these moves. Because of this, I strive to assist you and your family in a timely manner and be as stress free as possible.
