Wilderness First Aid

AAA conducts activities in remote localities in Australia and overseas. Therefore, it is important that participants on an AAA activity can provide first aid care to an ill or injured person in wilderness environments until they can be evacuated to definitive medical care.

For that reason, AAA members are encouraged to develop the skills to manage a casualty in a wilderness environment.

The AAA Committee will consider applications from members for funding to attend a suitable wilderness first aid course.
