Coaching Creditation

Single service reps may wish to accredit their coaches prior to season 07. There are currently no courses being conducted in Dec 06 or Jan 07 and the next available will be Feb/Mar 07 so bodies need to be nominated ASAP or risk non attendance until Apr 07.

The above application forms are for level 1 & 2 coaching courses conducted in Sydney mid to late Feb 07. Please do one or both of the following:

• If you are intersted, then apply.
• Pass this email on to as many ADF Aust Rules interested people you
• know.

Although these are courses conducted in Sydney, you may seek out the DTG for courses conducted locally to your region by visiting the AFL website and click on Game Development then Coaching.

At this stage ASAFA has given verbal agreement that they will pay for ADF members to attend such courses. Anyone who is interested and wants ASAFA to pay must get their application endorsed by the governing body for Aust Rules in their particular service eg - RANAFA etc. Nominations to WO2 Kim Beasland (ASAFA Director of Coaching)for approval by ASAFA, or pay for it yourself if you so desire. Development Camps

The opportunity exists for female defence members to undertake training in aspects of the Australian Football game that would provide them with an on field competitive edge.

These Camps are a comparatively small scale activity giving participants greater exposure to Australian Rules while providing valuable development of our female players in areas other than ball skills for which the game is otherwise known. In addition, such an activity is an opportunity for the significant development of match thought processes and the finer cognitive dynamics of our game.

In terms of advertising our game, Development Camps conducted on a regional basis will display our product to the wider ADF.
