The Active & Standby Staff Group (ASSG) is an Army Directorate that facilitates the provision of Reserve members to fill temporary vacancies nationally for Army and the Australian Defence Organisation. All Active and Standby Reservists with the capacity to perform extra reserve work are encouraged to register with the ASSG.

To Advertise a Vacancy

If you require a reservist to fill a task, you will need to complete a task request form.
Before tasking a member you are required to read the 'Roles and Responsibilities' document attached.
Also of benefit is the Tasking Unit Checklist.
