ADELAIDE UNIVERSITIES REGIMENT
Welcome to the website of the Adelaide Universities Regiment, Australian Army. This site provides visitors with an overview of the Regiment. It also provides current serving members with a web based portal to view unclassified administrative documents and content about upcoming training or courses. This site also provides information on courses run by Adelaide University Regiment.
The Adelaide Universities Regiment was raised on 17 September 1947, and officially active from 31 May 1948 (The Units Birthday).
On 1 July 2008 AUR joined the 2nd Division under the direct command of 9 Brigade. From January 2009, Adelaide Universities Regiment was tasked to conduct directed individual training (Tier 1,2 & 3) for all soldiers and officers of Australia Army Reserve, as well as the continued delivery of the ARES GSO FAC for RMC.
