Internal to Unit Posting Variations/Data Management
SCMA recognises that commanding officers do not always employ individual soldiers in the positions to which they are posted within their units.
In 2011, SCMA will provide units with the opportunity to move soldiers from their posted positions into the actual positions in which they are being employed. To achieve this, SCMA will need to repost all affected soldiers. Each unit will be provided one opportunity during 2011, to submit a list of internal posting variations to their unit establishment.
The authority to post soldiers between a Army Position Numbers (APNs) resides with Corps Career Managers within SCMA. Units do not have the authority to post soldiers or move them between APN. Units are requested to provide a list of affected soldiers NLT 07 Mar 11. This deadline will ensure that all details are recorded on PMKeyS in time for the posting selections for 2012.
Posting orders will not be promulgated to reflect internal posting changes. Changes will only be reflected on PMKeyS. Resubmits will not be accepted.
