QUR Mission

QUR is to safely deliver specified Army Reserve training in order to develop Army capability.

Background

Queensland University Regiment was originally formed in 1932 and is currently staffed by Australian Regular Army (ARA) and Army Reserve (ARes) soldiers, non commissioned officers, warrant officers and commissioned officers.
The Regiment delivers individual training to members of the Army Reserve on behalf of the 11th Brigade. The 11th Brigade is a part of the 2nd Division of the Australian Army.
Training delivered by the QUR directly contributes to the development of Army's capability.
Courses delivered by Queensland University Regiment include Officer Training (promotion) courses, Infantry Employment Training, Driver Training, High Readiness Reserve (HRR) and First Appointment Course (FAC) training.
