Army Museums

The Australian Army History Unit Open in new window is responsible for the management of Army's rich collection of heritage objects. The network is called the Army Museums Network and incorporates Army's Regional and Corps Museums.

Collects, preserves and exhibits the history of the Australian Army in South Australia. A significant part of the collection is the "Grey Collection" - recognised as one of the most important collection of badges in Australia. The museum also houses the following collections: Royal South Australian Regiment Historical Collection, 3rd Forward General Hospital Collection, and 144th Signal Squadron Historical Collection.
