History

Australian Infantry was first published from 1969 to 1973 and then later from 1980 to 1983 to provide a forum for the expression of ideas to benefit the professional knowledge and morale of the Royal Australian Infantry Corps. Acknowledging the void since 1983, delegates at the July 2001 Infantry Corps Conference requested that the magazine be revitalised to disseminate and cross-pollinate information and ideas on Infantry Corps matters.
