The Australian Peacekeeper and Peacemaker Veterans' Association (APPVA), is a veteran non-profit organisation of profession of arms and services that encompasses all operations that have involved Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces Servicemen and Women, Federal and State Police, Philanthropic Organisations (Everyman's Welfare Service, Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc) and Defence Civilians.

Veterans' Review Board
The VRB is a tribunal created by the Australian Parliament to review decisions about Repatriation pensions (other than Service Pensions) and attendant allowance. It is independent of the Repatriation Commission and the Department of Veterans' Affairs. It is made up of members who review decisions, and staff who assist the members.
This site is a useful information repository and tool for all Veterans.

The Nominal Roll of Vietnam Veterans is a database containing information on approximately 61 000 Australian Service personnel who served in Vietnam during the period 23 May 1962 to 29 April 1975.

The Military Compensation and Rehabilitation Service (MCRS)
The MCRS within DVA is responsible for administering claims for compensation and rehabilitation under the SRCA and the Defence Act 1903 for members and former members of the Australian Defence Force. If your claim is for an injury, disease or death that is related to service before 1 July 2004, you are likely to be covered by the SRCA. If your claim is for an injury, disease or death that is related to service on or after 1 July 2004, you will be covered under the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 (MRCA). Transition Management
The Transition Management initiative involves improving transition from military service to civilian life for ADF members. The desired result is a seamless, assisted transition for these members.
Defence has introduced national tri-Service discharge administration, including increased training for service deliverers and information dissemination to all members. This includes the establishment of a Career Transiation Website available only to ADF members who are in the process of being discharged on invalidity grounds, are also offered advice and support by an optional service, the Transition Management Service (TMS), which is managed by DVA on behalf of the Department of Defence. The support provided by the TMS to members discharging on invalidity grounds includes assistance with:
- civilian employment options;
- compensation;
- superannuation;
- financial planning;
- transition adjustment issues; and
- health insurance and community support arrangements.
Defence Service Homes Scheme (DSH)
The DSH Scheme provides housing benefits to eligible veterans, ADF personnel and their dependants. The benefits include subsidised housing loans; home support loans; and associated insurances.
