Graduation Parade, Commissioning Ceremony and Lunch

Location - Royal Military College Parade Ground

Timings - Commences at 09.30 am and concludes approx 11.30 am.

Guests are asked to be seated no later than 09.20 am. The Corps of Staff Cadets (CSC) march on to the Parade Ground at 09.30 am.

The Reviewing Officer of the parade will be the Govenor General Of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce, AC.

The Reviewing Officer will present the Sword of Honour and the Queen's Medal during the Parade.

At the conclusion of the parade the CSC will move to the Duntroon Fitness Centre (DFC) for the Commissioning Ceremony.

Traffic Marshalls will be available to assist with parking.

Attendance is by invitation only.

Location - Duntroon Fitness Centre

Timings - Ceremony commences at 11.30 am and concludes approx 12.15 pm. A lunch will be served in the CSC Mess following the Ceremony for the prize recipients and prize presenters and will conclude at approx 1.30 pm.

Selected cadets from I, II and III Class will be presented with prestigious Prizes, Corps and Sporting Awards. The Ceremony allows for a short photo session at the conclusion of the presentations.

Lunch will be served in the Corps of Staff Cadets (CSC) Mess immediately following the ceremony.

Dress: Neat Casual

During the commissioning Ceremony the Reviewing Officer will present each graduating cadet with their Certificate of Commission.

The Ceremony will commence at approx 11.45 am and will conclude at approx 12.50 pm.

Graduands and families only.

Lunch will be served for cadets and their guests in the CSC Mess at 12.45 pm. During the lunch the Reviewing Officer and the youngest graduand will cut the Graduation Cake. Lunch will conclude after the departure of the Reviewing Officer at approx 2.00 pm.

Graduands, VIPs and families only.

The Graduation Ball is organised by the graduating class. Graduands will advise their guests of dress, timings and the location prior to the event.
