SSO Entry
- Member attends a Flight Screening Program (FSP) run by the ADF Pilot Selection Agency (ADFPSA), Tamworth, NSW
- This involves two weeks of flying to assess retention & learning rate, and then sit a Selection Board at the completion of the two weeks
- Initial selection for the FSP is by 'paperboard' in competition with other ADF pilot applicants
- Upon completion of flight screening, a tri-service selection board ascertains your suitability for pilot training
- If found suitable your file is distributed to your preferred service
- Complete aircrew medical specialist appointments
- Pending competitiveness and pilot position availability, an offer of employment will be made for an appointment as a pilot trainee

GSO (Aviation Cadetship)
