Trade Transfer Bonus WithdrawnTransfer Information

The Trade Transfer Bonus has been withdrawn from offer WEF June 2010.

The Trade Transfer Bonus Scheme was introduced in 2006 to encourage soldiers to consider transferring to a technical trade within Army rather than elect discharge.

The scheme has proved beneficial for Army in providing the tradesmen needed to meet Army's demands and in providing high quality transportable skills for soldiers' future careers.

Soldiers considering leaving Army for a civilian career are encouraged to explore the option of securing a technical trade qualification through Army by trade transfer.

Trade Transfer WO's are available to provide specific advice. Contact details are available here .

The Chief of Army strongly encourages all soldiers to serve longer, whether it is in their present corps or trade or in a different part of Army.
