Function Requests
The Victoria Barracks Officers' and Sergeants' Mess is a heritage list building. Apart from the location and parking, it is a great venue for functions like weddings, birthdays and other functions.
Generally, the Mess is only available to Mess members. Members are required to complete a "Bid for Function" which details all the requirements for the function. This request then goes to the Mess Committee who consider each request separately.
If approved the applicant will be advised as soon as possible. There are several conditions in relation to the use of the Mess. These will be advised in a letter sent to the applicant. Due to the financial situation of the Mess, in most cases, applicants will be required to pay for the activity in advance.
