1. The following text is reproduced from the Mess Rules & Constitution.

2. The Mess Rules are promulgated in two parts:

  • Part One is the Mess Constitution, approved by a majority of members, to provide guidelines for the operation of the Mess, and limitations and requirements for the Mess Committee to administer Mess affairs.

  • Part Two consists of the Mess Rules formulated by the Mess Committee for the day to day operations of the Mess.

General

3. The Mess shall be a non - proprietary body and all income, property and profits from the activities of The Mess shall be applied to the purposes and objects for which it has been formed.

4. The objects of the Mess are:

a. To hold formal and social functions, meetings and gatherings to perpetuate and teach the Customs and Traditions of The Mess, enhance the Military Ethos and instil the values of Military life in its members.

b. To raise and collect funds by members subscriptions, raffles, donations, sales or otherwise for the objects of The Mess.

c. To do any other lawful acts as may be deemed necessary for the attainment of any or all of the objects of The Mess.
