9th Force Support Battalion

The 9th Force Support Battalion (9 FSB) is an Australian Army logistics battalion and its headquarters is based in Amberley, Queensland.

The Battalion was formed on 1 August 1998, following the amalgamation of a number of supply, medical, military police, maintenance and transport units.

9th Force Support Battalion is part the 17th Combat Service Support Brigade and its role is to provide third line or 'general' support within an area of operations.

9th Force Support Battalion comprises the following sub-units:
• Battalion Headquarters
• Special Advisory Group
• 9th Logistic Support Company
• 26th Transport Squadron
• 37th Force Supply Company
• 176th Air Dispatch Squadron
• 8th Personnel Services Company 

The motto of 9th Force Support Battalion is ‘Ubiquitous’.
