Created in 1973, from the Royal Australian Army Service Corps and the Royal Australian Engineers (Transportation), the Royal Australian Corps of Transport has built an impressive record of service to the Australian Defence Force.

This history tells how the new Corps built on the proud traditions and heritage of its forbears.

The Corps hs been committed to operations in Antarctica, Somalia, Cambodia, Rwanda, Bougainville and East Timor. It has also undertaken support tasks in Australia, for the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games and the Sydney 2000 Olympics and Paralympics.
