Port Moresby, Papua. 1942-09. Unloading supplies at the wharf, Port Moresby. As there is only one wharf at this port, supplies are unloaded from the freighters on to barges, whicha are then lightered into the wharf. The barges seen in this picture were constructed by Australian naval and army engineers and the crane erected by A.I.F. engineers.
