Flexible Work Arrangements

Army is undertaking "Re-Balancing the Army", a high-level initiative to re-structure the organisation. It is aimed at removing potential structural impediments to the implementation of flexible work arrangements, as well as rejecting the mindset of "do more with less".

Commanders at all levels, as well as Career Management-Army, are accepting and embracing the benefits of flexible work arrangements to achieve a work life balance that better accommodates spouse employment, children's schooling and other family considerations.

Many members who have returned to Army are now enjoying the benefits of flexible employment and a great work life balance.
