Introduction
Welcome to the Chauvel Sergeants' Mess, the home of the Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers for all units residing and working in the Townsville South area. This includes Lavarack Barracks, Ross Island and Townsville city.
This website has been established to provide information to current mess members, visiting members to the mess and those members about to be posted to units in the Townsville South area.
All visiting members are encouraged to utilise the mess in particular for the Mess Happy Hours which run each pay Friday from 1600-1700h.
Spouses and partners of mess members are always welcome in the mess and are particularly encouraged to participate in Mess Happy Hours.
