Instructions for New March-ins

Pre-Posting Procedures

All personnel posted to The Pilbara Regt must complete an interview with AAPSYCH and DCO staff pre-posting. Posting orders will include the following caveat "Posting subject to soldier being deemed psych suitable and both soldier and family being DCO suitable for VRL"

Documentation

Bring all normal documentation with you. For members posted to locations outside RHQ, march-in will be completed during the Induction Week training in Karratha. Due to the remote nature of the AO, please complete and return the March-In Proforma (link below) ASAP to cover both details needed for the unit and your movement plan. The movement plan is essential, particularly for those travelling by car through remote regions.

Married Quarters & Rental Assistance

The Pilbara Regt assists DHA with the allocation of MQs/RA premises due to the remote nature of the locations. Complete your normal applications with DHA, but also send/fax the March-In Proforma to The Pilbara Regt CCLK, Fax No (08) 9185 9117, to help with planning and allocations.
