Commander's words

Welcome to the Army Aviation Recruiting Cell web site.

Who are we?

The Aviation Recruiting Cell was raised in Jan 2003, in order to streamline the Pilot application process of those Army members who wish to pursue a career as an Army Aviator.

The cell is manned by the SO2 Aviation Recruiting Liaison Officer .

What do we do?

The Aviation Recruiting Cell primarily manages all In-Service Pilot applications from start to finish, Overseas Aviation Lateral Recruiting, Service Transfers for Pilots, and the Pilot Specialist Service Officer Appointment rounds.

The general audience targeted varies from PTE-WO2 to LT/MAJ.

Where can you find us?

We are located within the confines of Russell Offices within the Directorate of Officer Career Management - Army.

What can we offer?

We are here to assist all ARA and ARes members through the application process from advising on Standard of Education required through to how a member can improve their chances on being selected for a Flight Screening Course.

Once again welcome to our website, and we hope it is informative in guiding future Army Aviators through the initial process.
