Salary and Allowances
This section of the site is designed to provide you with access to information on financial issues including salary and allowances. Detail on the pay groups associated with each category is contained within the employment category descriptions located on each corps page.

Directorate of Conditions Information and Policy Services
Also located within PSP is the Directorate of Conditions Information and Policy Services (DCIPS). DCIPS is responsible for drafting and managing Defence determinations to support policy decisions on ADF pay and conditions of service, and ADF/APS overseas conditions of service.
The Defence Force Remuneration Tribunal (DFRT)
The Tribunal was established in 1984 to enable the pay and allowances of members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to be determined having regard to the special nature of Defence Force service. The Tribunal has now been operating for over 15 years.
This link is provided to enable you to look at current and recent determinations on trades that you are interested in. It can also be accessed through the DPE site.

Civil Accreditation of Military Training
The Defence Civil Accreditations website provides information on the civil accreditation of Australian Defence Force training for the information of Defence personnel and the general public.
The information contained within this site will advise Defence personnel of the civil qualifications that they may be entitled to as a result of their training and experience in their Service. There is a 'Request for Certificate ' document available which can be downloaded, filled in and forwarded to the Orderly Room/Regulating Office to initiate an application for a qualification.
Trade Transfer Information
The details on transferring to another employment category within the ARA or Army Reserve is detailed in Defence Instruction (Army) Personnel 149-3 Posting, Retention, Corps Transfer and Reallocation of Australian Regular Army (ARA) and Army Reserve (ARes) soldiers. Other documents which should be read in conjunction with this Instruction are:

Transfer Between Forces Information
Transfer and Allocation Cell is responsible for processing transfers into and within the ARAA copy of the DI(A) PERS 149-7 Instruction can be viewed by clicking the link under Reference Documents.
