The Military International Drone Racing Tournament
Sydney, Australia will be hosting the first ever Military International Drone Racing Tournament (MIDRT) in Sydney during October 18 - 23. Competitors will be racing over an exciting course at the historic Victoria Barracks, Sydney.
Drone Racing is an authorised and encouraged sport in the Australian Army. The Military International Drone Racing Tournament (MIDRT) is an approved and sanctioned Australian Army event, in association with Invictus Games 2018.
Drone Racing is a rapidly emerging motorsport made exciting and accessible by the low cost of equipment and the first person 'pilot' view (FPV) of the race action. Drone Racing skills are often self-taught, but these skills are enhanced and refined by selection in the Army Drone Racing Team.
Keep watching for more information on the MIDRT both on this page or via our social media page at www.facebook.com/MIDRT.
