Standby Reserve (SERCAT 2 and SERCAT 3)
The benefits of being a member of the Directorate of Projects and Standby Reserve Management – Army include its flexibility. The amount of service you render is entirely dependant on your willingness and other personal circumstances. To tempt you current opportunities are provided to you by the following means:
- If you have registered interest via completing of a Registration Form, you will be emailed each time an opportunity arrives that meets your job preferences (project work);
- A list of current opportunities for work is provided on Forcenet (www.forcenet.gov.au) and
- By email from the Directorate identifying military specific opportunities within your Corps /ECN that will fulfil military posting positions either under DA26, CFTS or LPS.
SERCAT 2 and 3 members volunteering to undertake service do so by completing a DA26 application, as well as a member 'undertaking' with the assistance of the Tasking Unit. Information for both the tasking unit and Reserve member can be found on our forms page.
