Alamein Company

Alamein Company is named after the World War II battle in North Africa and consists of Cobb, Magno and Sanderson Platoons.

The Battle of Alamein

The Battle of Alamein, 23 October to 4 November 1942, was the decisive battle in North Africa. The 8th Army commanded by General Montgomery defeated the Axis armies and ended any threat to British superiority in the Middle East. The Australian 9th Division under Major General Morshead played a major part in this battle.

The Company

Alamein Company has the Running Man and Scorpion as their proud mascots. The Alamein motto is "Hold Firm".

The Company colour is maroon.
