ADF parachute training in NSW in November 2016

The training will be conducted during the day and involves the use of Royal Australian Air Force Hercules C-130 aircraft and military safety vessels.

The personnel participating in the training will be dressed in military uniforms. No weapons or ammunition will be carried.

The training is being conducted to ensure that the ADF maintains the highest level of capability and preparedness to respond where required to support national interests.

The ADF has consulted with relevant authorities and will aim to minimise disruptions. The ADF thanks local residents and businesses for their patience while this important training is conducted.

Residents should not be concerned if they see or hear these activities occurring.
