Aircraft training in the Holsworthy and surrounding area from mid-July to early August

The Australian Army will be conducting aircraft training in the Holsworthy and surrounding area from mid-July to early August. This training will occur during the afternoon and the evening.

The training is being conducted to ensure the Australian Defence Force (ADF) maintains the highest level of preparedness to respond, where required, to support national interests.

It will also ensure pilots and aircrew are trained to fly in all conditions across urban and rural areas.

The ADF acknowledges these activities may result in disturbances to local residents. This disruption will be minimised wherever possible.

The public should not be alarmed if they see low-flying helicopters or hear the associated noise of the helicopters.

Individuals with concerns should contact the Defence Switchboard: 1300 333 362.
