Live Fire Exercise – Puckapunyal Military Area - 16th and 17th May 2018

Australian Army will be conducting a live fire Exercise on the 16th and 17th May 2018 within the Puckapunyal Military Area.

The public should not be alarmed if they see low-flying helicopters, military vehicles and personnel or hear the associated noise or vibrations of aircraft, vehicles, gunfire or pyrotechnics.

The Exercise is an annual Australian Army Combined Arms Live Fire activity which showcases the capabilities of elements from armour, artillery, engineers and infantry.

The Exercise is conducted in accordance with environmental guidelines.  Any damage occurring to target areas during the conduct will be repaired under the direction of the environmental officer, ensuring all environmental, heritage and management guidelines are adhered to.
