Army training

The 9th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery will be conducting Exercise WARATAH RUN at the Singleton Training area from 23rd to 26th March 2023.

The training activity will include the use of 81mm Mortars. Defence thanks the local community for supporting this important training activity.

Live fire will occur between the hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm, with limited night firing to no later than 10:00pm.

Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence activities, and the Australian Army will operate with a view to minimise the impact on the local communities.
