Up to two Australian Army Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopters from the 1st Aviation Regiment will operate in and around the Darwin region in support of the Triple Crown V8 Supercars at Hidden Valley Raceway.
The community can expect increased aircraft movement and associated noise on the following dates:
- 17 June 2025 from 12:45pm to 2:00pm a flyover rehearsal will be conducted.
- 20 June 2025 from 10:00am to 10:45am for the flyover at Hidden Valley Raceway.
All aircraft activities are conducted in accordance with strict safety and operational guidelines.
The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including at short notice, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.
Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence flying activities.
Noise disturbances will be minimised where possible and the Australian Defence Force thanks the public for their patience and cooperation during this exciting event.
