The Australian Defence Force will be conducting explosive ordnance demolition training operations at Singleton Military Training Area from 17 September to 24 September 2025.
The operations will include the use of live explosives and will occur between 08:00am and 5:00pm daily.
The community should not be alarmed by loud explosions in the area during this period.
Defence takes its responsibility to the public seriously, and acknowledges there are numerous challenges in conducting military activities that are in close proximity to residential suburbs.
Defence is committed to minimising the inconvenience to the local community and although the noise is regrettable, this training ensures the ADF is able to maintain its capabilities, and thanks the community for its ongoing support.
