16th Aviation Brigade will be conducting flying operations in support of 7th Signal Regiment’s Freedom of Entry Parade over Toowoomba City and surrounding suburbs.
Rehearsal for the fly over will take place on Tuesday 16 September 2025.
The Freedom of Entry Parade will commence at the intersection of Neil St and Herries St in the Toowoomba CBD from 9:00am on Saturday 20 September.
The accompanying fly over will occur once the Parade is underway at approximately 9:15am.
Aircraft featured in the fly over will include will the UH60M Black Hawk and the ARH Tiger helicopters.
The Australian Defence Force request the public refrain from the use of drones in the vicinity of the fly past zone whilst the activity is being conducted.
All aircraft activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.
The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.
Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence flying activities.
