Australian Defence Force (ADF) aircraft and Foreign Military aircraft will have an increase in operations for vital training from 05 May to 22 May 2026.
Communities to the east of Dalby and west of Lockyer Valley and south of Bunya Mountains will notice an increase in operations.
The training will involve the movement of personnel, multiple aircraft, heavy vehicles and blank firing.
The exercise will be conducted during the day and evening, concluding by 2300hrs. Training will be paused over the weekend period.
The community can expect an increase in activity, including noise from vehicle movement and equipment operations, during this period.
This training is necessary to maintain the world class capabilities the Australian Defence Force provides the government in defence of the nation.
The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.
Noise disturbances will be minimised where possible and the ADF thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
Members of the public can access further information regarding aircraft noise at https://www.defence.gov.au/aircraftnoise/, or by calling 1800 033 200.
