The Australian Army is conducting training activities in Shoalwater Bay and surrounding areas from June to August 2026.

The community can expect increased movement of military vehicles, equipment and personnel across Queensland with vehicles travelling before and after the activity. 

This training is essential to maintain the world class capabilities the Australian Defence Force provides the government in defence of the nation.
