Military personnel, vehicles and equipment from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and partner nations will be operating throughout the Northern Territory and Queensland as part of Exercise Predators Run 2026 over the period 10 July to 30 August 2026. 

The exercise will be conducted in the immediate vicinity of Robertson Barracks and within the Townsville Field Training Area.

The community can expect to see an increased presence of military vehicles utilising public roads (specifically the Stuart and Barkley Highways) and increased activities around Robertson Barracks.  

This is a routine training activity and the ADF appreciates the ongoing support and understanding of NT and North Qld communities.
