Australian Defence Force (ADF) helicopters will conduct military flying activities in the Darwin region between 16 and 23 August 2026.

The training will be conducted throughout the day and night.

This training is vital to maintain the world class capabilities the Australian Defence Force provides the government in defence of the nation.

Members of the public may notice an increase in military helicopter movements and associated noise during this period. They should not be alarmed if they see or hear military helicopters flying in the area.

The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.

Noise disturbances will be minimised where possible and the ADF thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
