The Australian Defence Force is conducting training activities within the confines of Canungra Field Training Area over the period 26 August to 27 August 2026.

Daily activities are expected to be conducted during the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm. 

These activities will involve the use of weapons which may generate noise including small explosions. 

Members of the public should not be alarmed if they hear increased activity in the area during these periods.

This training is essential to maintain the world class capabilities the Australian Defence Force provides the Government in defence of the nation.

The Australian Defence Force thanks the public for their patience and cooperation while this essential training is being conducted.
