Australian Army Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopters (ARH) will operate in vicinity of Darwin CBD, Darwin Waterfront Precinct, Mindil Beach, and Palmerston in September 2026.

Members of the public may notice an increase in military helicopter and vehicle movements and associated noise during this period. They should not be alarmed if they see or hear military helicopters flying low over urban areas.

No live ammunition will be used during this activity.

The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.

Noise disturbances will be minimised where possible and the ADF thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
