Australian Army personnel, will conduct increased flying operations north of Oakey up to Benarkin State Forest during the period of 06 November to 13 November 2026.
The areas of operation may include but are not limited to, Silverleigh, Kilburnie, Mount Darry, Djuan, Coalbank, Pierces Creek and Mount Darry.
The community can expect an increase in vehicle and aircraft movement.
This is a routine training activity and the community should not be alarmed.
All aircraft activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.
This training is vital to maintain the world class capabilities the Australian Defence Force provides the government in defence of the nation.
The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.
Noise disturbances will be minimised where possible and the ADF thanks the public for their patience and cooperation.
