The Australian Army Journal provides the primary forum for Army's professional discourse. The journal, in addition to facilitating debate within the Australian Army, also raises the quality and intellectual rigour of that debate by adhering to a strict and demanding standard of quality.

Past Editions from 1940 to this yearThe Australian Army Journal commenced publication in 1948 and continued through to 1976. It was revitalised in 1999 and continues to this day.
