The Australian Army Skill at Arms Meet (AASAM) is an annual combat marksmanship competition. AASAM has a long-standing reputation within the Australian Defence Force (ADF), amongst armies of the Indo-Asia-Pacific Region, and with Australia’s traditional defence partners. AASAM is used by the ADF to: identify the Champion Shots of the three Services; identify the Australian Army’s top 20 shots; select the Australian Army Combat Shooting Team (AACST) and engage with soldiers from invited foreign armies.
