Australian Army Public Relations Service
Australian Army Public Relations Service (AAPRS) tasking includes provision of public affairs support to regional community relations activities at unit or brigade-level through to gathering high-quality public relations product (video, stills and text) outside the wire in areas of operation for release to media in direct support of strategic communication objectives.
AAPRS is a small corps and includes photographers, reporters and public relations officers.
The Australian Army Public Relations Service corps motto is ‘Defende et Doce’, which is Latin for ‘Defend and inform’.
