Centenary of Anzac

100 Years of Anzac - The Spirit Lives, 2014 -2018
Between 2014 and 2019, Australia will commemorate the Centenary of Anzac, marking 100 years since our nation’s involvement in the First World War.

The Centenary of Anzac is a milestone of special significance to all Australians. The First World War helped define us as a people and as a nation.

During the Centenary of Anzac we will remember not only the original Anzacs who served during the ‘War to end all wars’ (1914-1919), but commemorate the service and sacrifice of those Australians who have served or continue to serve since that time.

The Australian Army will actively participate in Centenary of Anzac commemorative activities both around Australia and overseas.

To request Defence support for community Centenary of Anzac commemorative activities, please contact your regional Joint Operations Support Staff.
