Operation Slipper Commemoration 2015

A national day of commemoration will be held on 21 March 2015 to recognise and commemorate the contribution and sacrifice of Australian troops who served in Afghanistan and the Middle East.

Commemorative activities to mark the end of Operation Slipper include parades of current and former Australian Defence Force and support personnel in all capital cities and Townsville.
